SEL develops a child’s ability to understand, express, and regulate emotions. It helps them to effectively communicate their needs, develop strong self-worth, awareness, and grit.

At Children’s Empowerment Network and consulting we are dedicated to empowering children through knowing, understanding and experiencing social and emotional health through the five SEL competencies (self-awareness, social awareness, responsible decision making, and relationship skills). At CENC we work closely with schools, parents, and organizations to educate, train and assist in the implantation of SEL skills into curriculum, programs, communities, and families.
